ROBERT A. CIOTTONE, Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist, (ABPP)

I am Robert A. Ciottone, Ph.D. For many years I have had a private practice in clinical and consulting psychology based at 48 Cedar Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. As an experienced clinical psychologist, I am diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology,  a Fellow of the Massachusetts Psychological Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology.  In universities and in medical school settings, I have taught courses in assessment, in treatment and in community consultation for undergraduates, for Ph.D. students and for Fellows in child psychiatry. As an author and coauthor, I have published books, book chapters and journal articles focusing on subjects such as critical life transitions, family therapy for problem behaviors in children and teenagers and psychotherapy in the wake of sexual abuse and other forms of trauma.
